James M. Spielman
James has more than 15 years of development experience helping clients maximize their project’s value by providing a balance between cost, time, and quality. His areas of expertise include all facets of delivery; from concept development to operational start-up.
Prior to establishing Reserved Group in 2011, James was the Director of Development for Soho House – North America. During his time at Soho House, he brought a number of projects online, the most recent being Soho Beach House, a boutique 50 room hotel, in Miami Beach, FL. In addition to being responsible for the development of new properties, he was also actively engaged in identifying and qualifying locations for possible future developments.
He completed a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Management, with a minor in Business Administration from Oregon State University in 1996. In 2005, he earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
